People connect with Light Street Church as a way of using their talents and expressing their interests while adding real purpose and true meaning to their lives. The programs and activities that extend from our front doors provide occasions for people in all walks of life to contribute their unique abilities toward achieving a just and peaceful world. Artists, scientists, musicians, carpenters, educators, social workers, health care workers, plumbers, environmentalists, secretaries - all who know they have been given much may find creative ways to use their gifts as they "give back."

Others connect with Light Street Church's openness as a comfortable way of demonstrating their personal preference for diversity and inclusivity. All who wish to participate in the life of this faith community are invited and encouraged to do so, regardless of race, gender, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identification, or socioeconomic level. Several members are married to people of different faith traditions (Jewish and Muslim); they too feel welcome at Light Street.

First Sunday Potluck Dinners - The first Sunday of each month, we gather for dinner & conversation. Please bring a dish to share and join us.

Young Adults At Light Street - an opportunity for young adults (in their 20s and 30s) to socialize with one another, allowing friendships to grow in a wholesome atmosphere.

Mens' Movie Night - join the men of our church for dinner & a movie on selected Wednesday nights.
